Here’s All the Details About Jennifer Lopez’s Marriage to Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez (52) and Ben Affleck (49) got married yesterday in Las Vegas. The two got back together last year after breaking off their engagement in 2004. Ben proposed to her again in April this year.

The singer confirms the marriage in her newsletter. “We did it,” she writes. “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out, love is patient. Twenty years patiently.’ She closes the newsletter with ‘ with love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck’. Which means she took her husband’s last name.

The two were married in Las Vegas. “We stood in line with four other couples for a license to get married.” The party was almost canceled because they were a little late. But luckily their wedding location, the well-known A Little White Chapel, stayed open a little longer and the couple could also have photos taken with a pink Cadillac.

Jennifer has worn two dresses during the festivities. A more exuberant one for the ceremony, designed by Zuhair Murad, and a simpler one for afterwards. A video – at the bottom of the article – of her hairdresser shows that she radiates in the simplistic dress. In her own words, that dress is ‘from an old movie’ and she has kept it for years. Ben, in turn, wore a light-colored jacket.
