Sauron’s sinister plans led to many issues in the Second Age of Middle-earth. Something we’re going to see in full ‘glory’ in the upcoming series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power .

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has already received a lot of promo photos and three trailers have already been released. This week there was finally a trailer that actually seemed to hint at something and gave something of an impression of the story.

Anyway. Despite all the promos and all the material we’ve seen from The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power so far , which is quite a bit, we haven’t seen Sauron yet.

In the Second Age, Sauron was not yet a dark lord with black armor and a large black club. He was then called Annatar, the Lord of Gifts, and was in human form.
