Shawn Mendes stops tour to take care of mental health

Singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes , 23, announced this Saturday (9) on his social media that he will take a three-week break from the schedule of his ” Wonder ” tour, which began in late June. The goal is to prioritize his mental health.

“It breaks my heart to have to say this, but unfortunately I will have to postpone the next three weeks of concerts in Uncasville until further notice,” the artist said in a post on his Instagram profile.

Mendes said he made the decision alongside his team of health professionals to focus on his physical and mental well-being. The singer did not reveal when the tour will resume.

Wonder The Tour kicked off in Portland, Oregon on June 27th. Shawn was scheduled to continue his tour in St. Paul, Minnesota, this Saturday, July 9th. The last show he postponed would be Uncasville, Connecticut.
